SOMEWHERE ON THE WAY YOU LOST ME 2011
Photographic sculptures, Amsterdam, NL (2011)
Inkjet print, cardboard
The originally found wooden crate has been photographed from all sites, then rebuild again into its original size by using inkjet prints on cardboard. The City exists merely as a stage design and passes by as I stroll along. When a particular event becomes unique, as if frozen within the continuum of time I stand still and observe. It is the discarded and forgotten, the creation of refuse and remains, that is describing the course of the world surrounding me as an endless series of stories concealed in the form of things.
